I wanted to know the motion detection algorithmn used by Zoneminder... Could not find the information in any of the documentation.. Does Zoneminder compare Mjpeg frames to detect motion or does it compare raw avi stream encoded in RGB24 pallete?
Rephrasing the first question does Zoneminder generate MJPeg files only when an event is detected or in record mode, assuming ffmpeg is not installed. what is the format of the images streamed by webserver. Please help ....
