I am using a 2.4gz wireless camera and need help dealing with random radio interference. My neighborhood has a very busy 2.4ghz spectrum and I have tested each channel on my 4 channel camera however I frequently will have random interference which generates alerts on in ZM.
I am using a 12dbi cantenna aimed in the direction of my camera and can get a clear picture however it seems that I have some random interference that causes horizontal snowy bars on the image that is generating events.
I have switched my router to the least active channel (11) in my area which has helped however I am at a loss.
Any suggestions on how I can lower the number of false alerts on this camera?
Thank you,

managing wireless interference
I found a solution the other night, I created this corner reflector which sits nicely on the dipole antenna of my wireless receiver. I am now getting a strong constant signal and almost no interference. I believe this reflector is blocking out the unwanted signals and focusing reception where it needs to be. Very cool project. I hope this someone else finds this helpful.
