NOW WORKING - 1.27.99 - Panasonic BL-C30 with V1.30

Post by cyclic »

ZM 1.27.99 on clean Ubuntu 14.04.1 from occonor package
Various other cams including 2 Panasonics are ok
Panasonic BL-C30 with V1.30 net cam previously worked with ZM 1.25.
on1.27.99 Panasonic BL-C30 - Shows as red
No error message which relates to this cam
vlc http://USER:PASSWORD@x.x.x.x:pppp/nphMotionJpeg?Resolution=640x480&Quality=Standard
Works fine
Any reason why problem with BL-C30 ?

After tidying up issues I now see in the LOG:
2014-08-18 10:18:50.966890 zmdc 29582 ERR 'zmc -m 1' exited abnormally, exit status 255 zmdc.pl

Why might it be unable to connect when vlc command works fine with same data?
Other ip cams including Panasonics no problem and rock solid.

After making a regular Ubuntu upgrade the offending Panasonic BL-C30-V1.30 has started working all of its own accord?
Zoneminder was not upgraded and still shows as 1.27.99.0
No configuration changes were made either.
