Motion and jpeg stream from Zoneminder

Can anyone(that knows) tell me if there is any potential issue using Motion(http://www.lavrsen.dk/foswiki/bin/view/Motion/WebHome) to watch the jpeg stream(http://localhost/cgi-bin/nph-zms?mode=jpeg&monitor=1) and trigger ZoneMinder using zmtrigger.pl? like will the sockets eventually timeout or anything?
