Archive feature?

I have a question about the archive feature. I'm currently using v1.23.3 and the other day I was reviewing events and 'archived' several that I wanted to save. I then deleted all events in the event list and the archived ones were deleted too. I've used an older version of ZM and when I archived an event, it was removed from the eventlist and saved permanently in the archived list. When I deleted events from the event list, the archived items were not deleted. I want the old behavior/functionality back!

Is this simply an issue that events in the older version were filtered to not show 'archived' events, or did ZM change the way it handles archives for some reason?
