Hello

I`m new user in linux, ubuntu 8.04

the error is:
http://localhost/zm
Not Found

The requested URL /zm was not found on this server.

pls help me

Is Apache running?
If you just access http://localhost - do you see Apache screen?

The trick to getting good help is providing good information. I am assuming you are using something to translate your native language into english. That is okay, but you might get a friend to help you, humans tend to be better translators.

What we need to help you:

Information on how you installed zoneminder.
What Linux distribution you are using? I'm betting you are using Debian or a derivative as it appears you are using the Debian package for apache2. (Thats why you get the "It Works!" page when you visit http://localhost/)
What version of zoneminder?
Did you get the package from your distribution or compile from source?
Did you get any errors in the process of installing?
