New install , Newbie , New camera

Post by evinrude »

ZM 1.36.35
Raspberry PI 5
Tapo C320WS camera

Camera works fine with 'Tapo' app
Camera works fine using rtsp url in VLC on Android device

I'm trying to add my camera using 'ADD' and I cannot get past
Width must be set to a valid value
Height must be set to a valid value
Is this done withing the rtsp url ?
I tried various forms of this
rtsp://10.10.20.93:554/stream1&width=1920&height=1080
but no joy

No.

On the Monitor Source Page there is a Capture Resolution setting that basically has to match the camera resolution. You can vary this setting usually by halves of the camera max resolution. But for starters use the camera resolution.

Your camera resolution is 2560x1440

In the Storage area disable Save JPEG's. In Video Writer use Camera Passthrough.

Ok thanks for that . Now on to the 'Server returned 401 Unauthorized (authorization failed)' problem

Hello, Newbie here. I am having a similar issue.

ZM v1.36.35
Lenovo Think Centre with Ubuntu
Tapa TC60 and C100

I can scan it in with the ONVIF Monitor Probe but it doesn't capture.

If I used jpeg I get a flickering picture and a screen screen. I feel I am close.
