Re: Events list - truncate/limit 'cause' column width
Where do you turn it off? I'm looking under Web and I don't see an option box to disable the Cause field/column.

Events list - truncate/limit 'cause' column width
Is there any way to limit or truncate the 'cause' field when listing events. I have some cameras pointing at a field and have them set pretty sensitive to pick up small motion. However, if you get a partly cloudy day with a lot of moving clouds it can trigger a bunch of zones all at once and current...

Re: Gapless event speed increases after 1st event
So I moved my cameras to H.264 passthrough storage and the speed-up issue has gone away.

Re: Gapless event speed increases after 1st event
Also, as a side note, if I use the PREV button to jump back to an Event that played at high speed when I jump back using the PREV button to watch it again then it plays back at normal speed as well.

Re: Gapless event speed increases after 1st event
What would be the process of debugging this? I'm unsure of how/what to provide? I do see on the event log a bunch of web.js error undefined: "2021-10-25 10:26:06",web_js,,52921,ERR,undefined,?view=events&page=1&filter%5BQuery%5D%5Bterms%5D%5B0%5D%5Battr%5D=StartDateTime&filter%...

Re: Gapless event speed increases after 1st event
Ok but if it was the recording then why if I start with the next event first does it playback fine i.e. Event 56 plays fine then gapless plays to 57, 58, 59, etc but 57 - 59 randomly speed up and sometimes slow back down If I start with 57 it plays fine then 58 - 59 have the speed issues. It would r...

Re: Gapless event speed increases after 1st event
Yes, and if I go to the next event and start from there it doesn't happen,
Sometimes it will do it for the next event then the third or 4th event will return to normal speed.

Gapless event speed increases after 1st event
I've noticed an issue on 1.36.x when playing back (rate set at 1x) using Gapless playback after the 1st event selected plays the next events playback at around 4x the normal playback speed. I've tried different browsers, clearing my cache and it happens on different systems too so it's not unique to...

Truncate triggered motion listing when triggering all zones on an event
I have a recurring issue when I have a lot of zones on a camera/source, if something like a bug or animal gets into the camera lens it will trigger most if not all of the zones and thus the event listing becomes so wide in the web view you can't see the thumbnail or even click the event ID without z...

PurgeWhenFull multiple storage areas
I searched the forum and only found one post from about 3 years ago and I didn't see any discussion after the initial question. I now have a similar configuration where I have a server with three drives to break up my Mocord storage for my cameras. Is the best method to handle multiple storage areas...

Re: How much drive space for root? (not including events)
It depends on how big your logs, etc. get, but 100GB should be plenty. You might consider getting a 120GB SSD and just use it all. They''re cheap now. Doug, I was curious since you mentioned this are you doing this for your config? I just purchased a new server grade workstation to retire my 10 yea...

H264 passthrough issues with Foscam
For years I have used the Remote source type with my Foscam cameras but I was reading up that using FFMPEG and H264 passthrough could reduce resource utilization. (correct?) When I switched to ffmpeg I am unable to get the camera to connect unless I add the allowed_media_types=video setting to the O...

Re: Random gaps in capture - [Monitor 8 last captured 6 seconds ago, max is 5]
I'm curious if you found any solution to this? I have a machine with 16GB of ram and a 500GB SSD and the jbd2/dm-0-8 keeps slamming up at 99% utilization. I'm running ZM 1.34.x so maybe I need to move this to that forum but it seems to be a common issue. This is on Ubuntu 20.0.4 LTS server. I can fi...
