Re: Internet Explorer 11 detection for streaming
So did some tests and to get it to work with IE 10 you need the following changes diff was against 1.25 version Summary is that you need to use the object class instead of applet since IE 10 does not like it unsigned in the function outputHelperStream() Then add new definition for IE 11 in function ...

Internet Explorer 11 detection for streaming
I have really had alot of issues with the auto browser detect in zoneminder. I don't think I was able to use it since IE 10 came out. So tonight I thought I would try to fix this once and for all. My fix may not be complete but is better than nothing. I believe it should work for IE 10 but not ...

Re: Zoneminder Web Interface is really slow
I admin a number of MySQL boxes and unfortunately I have run across this in the past. Quite annoying to say the least. You are looking for bug 34312 as reported to MySQL, ensure you are encountering this box and follow the work around provided by the developers. The bug report is below: http://bugs ...

Re: Zoneminder Web Interface is really slow
If you're not a mysql expert (I'm not!) then phpmyadmin is a useful tool - it'll allow you to click a button to repair a broken mysql table, backup, inspect - lots of stuff. (Don't expose it to the internet though, it's quite heavily targetted by the bad guys). Most tables are repairable that way ...

Re: Zoneminder Web Interface is really slow
Several possibles spring to mind: Free memory is low. CPU is high. 1.43 on a 2.0 nominal system will still affect performance. SSD won't make much difference in this case since the delays in loading ZM's console are mostly in ram as well as disk (a large number of sql queries are required). Apache ...

Hi and thanks for replying.Carrier82 wrote:How high is the system load?
Below 2.0, and it is using an intel i550 (2 cores). 1.43 right now and when I login it takes forever in IE and Firefox to display the console. 10+ seconds or more.

Zoneminder Web Interface is really slow
Anyone see the same problems I do, lots of "Waiting for <your domain or IP>..." that can take 10 or 20 or more seconds, especially when you want to view the Log link. Is there any way to make this faster on the front end. I have a fast intel i5 processor and lots of ram and an SSD on this system ...

Re: hauppage ImpactVCB not working with Ubuntu 12.04

hauppage ImpactVCB not working with Ubuntu 12.04
I am in the process of upgrading my zoneminder install and have set up a new system with Ubuntu 12.04 Server. I have installed Zoneminder 1.25.0 and everything except my capture card is not working. I have a Hauppage ImpactVCB card. The OS recognises it but there seems to be an issue capturing any ...
