This is the 10/100 ethernet based camera. It works fine if you use it with the 352x240 resolution and point to /cgi-bin/video.jpg. The color is excellent in any type of lighting. Currently I have a system using 20 of these cameras.

So this camera only works capturing jpeg snapshots from what I gather from your post and no streaming methods so it's only partially compatible, or is it capturing a mjpeg stream?

I have 3 of these as well, and as far as I can tell it is sending JPEG only. It can send an h.263 stream, if you have IE and can load the ActiveX control. I've tried a few things with VLC, but I can't get the stream to load outside of the ActiveX control.
