Settings for motion detection recording

Post by IgorA100 »

Capturing = Always
Decoding = On Demand
Motion Detection = Always
Recording = On Motion / Trigger / etc
Video Writer = Camera Passthrough
ONVIF = Disabled

If you specify such settings, then in case of movement, recording will NOT be made.
If you make ONE of the following changes:
1. ONVIF = Enabled - recording will be made based on an event received via ONVIF.
2. Decoding = Always - recording will be made based on ZM analysis.

I think this is logical. Right? But the choice of the above combination should be prohibited, because confuse.

Do Decoding=Keyframes + OnDemand and you will get around 1 image per second which may be enough for motion detection.
