Hello !

For two months I am trying to setup two cameras Ovislink OD-2025HD and POE-250HD. I was reinstaling entire system maybe 10 times compiling couples od ffmpeg,s 0.6.5 0.8.12, 0.10x and I have such an image. image is blurred on halfway but on direct access to the camera is ok. Also VLC Player show good images on all too cameras profiles. I was tried all settings on camera (GOP, CBR, VBR) and I have on ZM such a view. Only o ZM all players show perfect images. I have ZM 1.25 on Centos 6.2 64bit, server HP XW6400, 4 GB RAM, 1x Intel Xeon L5320 quad core CPU. The same thing with Ovis OD-2025. I use direcly RTSP Source in ZM like rtsp://admin:airlive@192.168.1.106:554/media.amp?videocodec=h264&resolution=sxga. Please help me. Sorry for my english I am from Poland...

Sounds like a similar issue I hit with our Geovision cams... See ffmpeg<dot>org<slash>trac<slash>ffmpeg<slash>ticket<slash>285 (I had to break the url because I'm a new user and not allowed to post links)

You are right to be suspicious of ffmpeg. As far as I can tell RTSP support in FFMPEG is extremely buggy.

Have you tried prepending "?tcp" to the connection string? The "?tcp" suffix is an argument parsed and recognized by ffmpeg to not use udp. That resolved the issue for me with my cams.

@GoldiBoy - may I ask you to share your configuration of OD-2025HD? I am running Ubuntu 13.04 on HP ProLiant Micro Server G7 N54L, ZoneMinder v1.25.0 installed via ubuntu repo. Basic connection with OD-2025HD in default is my issue.
ipcam setting - Video Profile1 - 1080p h264 EVBR 30fps

PS: I`am from Slovakia
