"Multiple data streams can be written at once, allowing you to link multiple cameras to the same drive."
I was wondering if anyone has been using them, since they are targeted directly towards dvr's etc.
Found a hdtach on a 320gb version: http://img204.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hdtachfj5.jpg
Been considering using them in raid arrays or as a single drive, don't really see any downsides other then seek time. They are the same price or less then other drives.
"Video read/write profiles allow greater control over operation using ATA7 Streaming Commands"
I am assuming that is hardware based and software cant directly manipulate it.
Any comments will be appreciated.
