Hi,

I'm trying to built a video surveillance server under Linux.
I'm looking for H264 hardware compression card. Since now I'have seen
only the DS4004 HCI card and the PV-261 card.

They are supposed to work under linux. Will it be the case with ZM ?
Do you have any tips to reach my goal of a h264 video server ?

Sorry but ZM does not currently handle H.264 video, only jpeg and mjeg. Since your link to DS-400xHCI has a development SDK available, maybe some where down the road we could but would not be any time soon as we would need to have the capture cards to be able to develop and test. Since I don't know what they charge, I have to assume that they are possibly pretty spendy and possibly beyond any of our budgets.

the stuff coming out of china and taiwan is pretty reasonably priced these days, both in terms of 4 port video servers and capture cards, especially with volume discounts.
