Hi,
I want to add additional camera to my zoneminder.
It will be quite far. There is enough power for every installation, so this is not a problem.
My first idea is to use additional router (R2, OpenWRT) with IP cam connected to it. Then this router I want to connect via VPN to my primary router and add camera to zoneminder on primary router's (R1) LAN.
It will probably work, but R2 will connect via GSM with large, but not infinite bandwidth limit.

My cams record only on alarms, but in such config, R2 camera have to stream all the time (and use much of bandwidth) and stream will be recorded or not on R1 side of network - and most the time it will be the same, static image.

So - i want to know if it is possible to do something like that?
Set Raspberry Pi 3B (I have such one) as additional zoneminder server, without video storage (its important, I don't want storage in R2 network). And stream from R2 zoneminder to R1 zoneminder only on alarm (and if possible - when I want to see it by myself).
