[SOLVED]-Problems with new installation

Hi,

I've been away from zm since 1.36.
I've made a fresh install on ubuntu 22.04 as per instructions from installation-video.

all seemed fine at first, I managed to add a monitor but didn't get any video output.
I used search feature and found my camera as a choice, added and when I didnt get it to work I just removed it again.

tried adding another monitor but gave up and deleted monitors.

today, a couple of days later I wanted to retry but I cannot add monitors anymore
logging refecenced to old monitors I had deleted, they weren't there in the console but logging still reported problems with stream(yes, these were wrong the time I tried)

So I logged into db directly and deleted the monitors form the table "Monitors"
I rebooted the ubuntu and tried again but no luck


When adding monitor nothing happens, no errors when pressing add button.

P.S. I also did upgrade to 1.37.56 today
the process completed without errors but no change in the behavior:

p.s:
I can also see that "console" button on gui is gone

and there are more errors in the logs and I dont have any monitors defined and "Monitors" table is empty

GUI problems sometimes result from old cookies. Try clearing them for zm.

Try your path in VLC. If it works there, it'll work in ZM, and VLC's faster than testing with ZM.

Not sure exactly what you did with the Monitors table, but try adding M3 again and then delete with GUI.

Tried different browsers so that is not the issue
Yes, I have resolved the stream issues but cannot add monitors in GUI and as you can see logs referencing to a monitor which does not exist.

What I did to the table is just deleting the monitor manually from the table bacase of the same reason, the gui didn't show anything but logs were full of old references.

Yes, it works either by your link or by directly accessing the ip/zm but the button is absent from the GUI, see the attachment

Just upgraded to 1.37.56~20240321124416-jammy
and all is back to normal
