Camera choice

I am considering getting this camera

It has many detection features such as person, vehicle, face, animal; the fine print says face and mask detection require a Lorex network video recorder. The setup instructions I can find all assume the use of the nvr; I found one mention you can view and manage the live feed with the ip address.
Does anyone know if Lorex cameras have any detection capabilities for vehicle, animal or even just movement? If I just need to record what the cameras detect I shouldn't need too high end of a system.
