API settings are too difficult for beginners

Post by waconline »

ZmNinja does not work because the API was not set successfully.
My system is Debian bullseye with web services apache2, php7.4
API test failed (http://server/zm/api/monitors.json), response Error: The requested address '/zm/api/' was not found on this server.

Who can send me the settings of the API under Apache 2+PHP that running successfully?
In addition, the setting of nginx+fastcgi is needed too.

ZmNinja is working for me right out of the box with Bullseye. I recommend you review how you installed Zoneminder. See the ZM Wiki at: https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Debian_11_B ... der_1.36.x
For NGINX you may be able to use this as a reference: https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Ubuntu_Serv ... iadb,_PHP)
I have not installed NGINX on Bullseye yet and currently do not have a test PC to try it on.
