I've just bought one of these cameras to see if it's worth upgrading my existing cameras. Just looking to see if anyone else has any of these cameras and what settings they're using.

I have one, works great. It is a hikvision.

Please note that your computer likely cannot handle decoding and doing motion detection on the 4k stream.

Thanks Isaac, time to move away from VM's with loads of CPU's and RAM for something dedicated to the job and with a massive GFX card? Or do I just drop down a resolution and play around with the various settings both on the camera and ZM?

graphics card won't help much.

It just isn't feasible to decode and do anything else with the 4k stream. Need to just record it without decoding. Trigger it with the substream. Or use on camera motion detection and janus.

Just bought one of these a few weeks back as well. It works with RTSP just fine.

I've read some rumors that it required their software to setup, and that it should be activated. I havent done either of it. An IP was assigned from DHCP, and from there I could access the WebUI and reconfigure it.
Even with using an NON IE browser, which is progress from the current real hikvision cameras I have :D . (Live streaming does not work, but the setup does).

I guess you're on Windows? I use Arch Linux https://endeavouros.com/. I am having a lot of trouble seeing anything but thumbnails in ZM from my three C800s. Also, lots of drops outs. And, no, I don't use wifi!

But today is the first time I have tried ZM, so I am still reading the manuals. I'm using RTSP, with H264 as the codec although they are H265 cameras. This advice comes from the Annke manual, which is pretty useless BTW as it assumes you're on Windows and using a thing called IE.

Have you managed to enable ONVIF?
