ZM 1.36.14 to 1.36.16 on Ubuntu 18.04 Issues - SOLVED with 1.36.17

Post by codabiz »

Did: 'apt-get upgrade' to upgrade from ZM 1.36.14 to 1.36.16 on Ubuntu server 18.04 bionic, would not upgrade due to dependency issues.

Did: ' apt-get dist-upgrade' which installed the dependencies and upgraded to 1.36.16, with a warning.

ZM appears to be working OK on Chrome v101 and Firefox v100, but with the following issues.

Intermittent display on 'Montage view' images, with the following log errors:

1. Socket /run/zm/zms-122313s.sock does not exist. This file is created by zms, and since it does not exist, either zms did not run, or zms exited early. Please check your zms logs and ensure that CGI is enabled in apache and check that the PATH_ZMS is set correctly. Make sure that ZM is actually recording. If you are trying to view a live stream and the capture process (zmc) is not running then zms will exit.

2. When I click on Montage image to expand, it doesn't.
Log error: User initiated exit -CMD_Quit

Sometimes get: Unable to send stream frame: Broken pipe

Upgrade to latest version ZM 1.36.17 for Ubuntu 18.04 bionic, Solved these issues
