What is hwdevice_ctx ?

Post by dougmccrary »

I was about to post on 1.36 about zm_videostoare.cpp, but looks like it's been rewritten.
So I'm getting Failed to create at line 318 now. Is that something hardwired? I'm not asking for whatever it is....only happens on my SRIcams.

It's trying to use GPU hwaccel but failing.

OK. Is that *try" something I can disable somewhere/how?

I already removed cuvid on the "source" page.

With the recent snapshot I can use cuvid or not and the problems with my SRICAMs have gone away. I realized those are UDP, so I’m guessing you did the packet sorting you mentioned in another thread?

Yup, it seems to be working well for me. Has silenced a lot of my systems. Very happy with it so far. Am working to merge it for 1.36 as I type.
