How did you end up in 1.30? You should be using 1.34 or 1.36.

fastest way to test streams:

I've always found it easier to change the default storage area and deal with everything in just one place rather than add another one.

Another easy option is to create the ZM events/* directory structure on a new disk and then mount it directly (or bind mount it) over the existing one. There's nothing to change or edit that way, apart from adding the mount point to /etc/fstab.
