is it possible to use MLAPI over internet? zmeventnotification

Hello!
I would like to know if it's possible to use MLAPI over internet?
So if i buy and setup somewhere MLAPI server on VGPU server (or VDS) will it be possible to just point my local zmeventnotification in ml_gateway to server over internet?
Has anyone tried to use such configuration?
Even more - maybe someone can share for brief period his server (im just wanna try if i should buy GPU like 1060-1070ti if i want to reduce my detection times to seconds, rather than minutes on cpu 3900x, im using complex scenario with 15 cameras which always analyzes 20 images per event - viewtopic.php?t=30232&p=119468)? Well im willing to give up little bit of privacy if someone will receive pictures from my server, that's not problem.
