Hello,

I am new on ZoneMinder and i really like this tool.
My ZoneMinder is install on an Ubuntu 18.04
My camera is a Ranger Pro from Imou.

Everything works fine except the control of the camera
I think the problem comes from this error (displayed in the "logs" tab) :
Can't load ZoneMinder::Control::onvifGlobal symbol "$this" requires explicit package name (did you forget to declare "my $this"?) at /usr/share/perl5/ZoneMinder/Control/onvif.pm line 68.Compilation failed in require at /usr/share/perl/5.26/Module/Load.pm line 77.Can't locate ZoneMinder/Control/onvif in @INC (@INC contains: /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl/5.26.1 /usr/local/share/perl/5.26.1 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl5/5.26 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl/5.26 /usr/share/perl/5.26 /usr/local/lib/site_perl /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl-base) at /usr/share/perl/5.26/Module/Load.pm line 77.

For information i'm able to control the camera with the tool Onvif device manager.

Can someone help me to solve this issue ?

This was fixed in the freshly released 1.34.24.

Thanks for your answer but it seems that this version is not available in the ppa ppa:iconnor/zoneminder-1.34.

Did you talk about a snapshot version ?

No the ppa is stupid. It's taking me too long to build packages. Launchpad actually sucks.

OK, i understand (on ZoneMinder.com it is recommanded to use the PPA)

Anyway, how can i upgrade zm to the new version ? Is there a install guide ?

I am imagining this was a temporary frustration and the PPA will be updated ?
Just did an apt upgrade and did not get this latest version.

I have had to up the version to 1.34.25 to get it up. Packages should be available now.

I've updated to the last version, and it still not work.
When I try to move the camera, nothing happens....

The only error in the log console is :
2021-04-18 15:50:48.835820 zmcontrol_1[8631].ERR-zmcontrol.pl [Error check failed:'404 Not Found']
