ZM login from email alert with ZM authentication

Hi,

Once I enabled ZM authentication I cannot access the event link that is provided in the alarm email/SMS notification.

I get the following:
ZoneMinder Error
You do not have permissions to access this resource.
Please contact your adminstrator for details.

Any idea if this can be fixed?
After clicking the link, I'd expect to be directed to the login page and once I enter correct user/pass I should see the event. This of course does not happen.

If I previously logged in ZM in the browser the link works but just as long as the the browsing session last.

Thanks!

I posted on this a couple weeks ago and never heard anything back. I'd like this too, because it otherwise is rather clumsy to check events from e-mail.

It would be an easy fix if I had time to do it.

This is a great idea. However, we are in the same situation as you. We have far more work to do than people and time to do it. The quickest way to get this implemented would be to jump over to github and submit a pull request.

Give me a week or two and I'll have it working.
