Why do you need an App?
I can see monitors,event and even control via Safari in iOs (ipad mini and new iPad) and my BB Passport?

I can also log in thru Androids OS Firefox with no additional app, just a browser
I'm just using Firefox and have HTTPS connection...see the main console and all functions working.

Is there any way to perform start/stop in the zmview app on iOS? I'm not seeing it...

I tried the free version and I am very disappointed. I expected a better app but it is very "weak". Free version has a lot of disabled function and advertising is very annoying.. Apple asks for 1,98 Euros for free app and more 3.99 Euros for Pro version... I think that "business" model isn't good...
Quality of the app is very simple. Any skin, graphics, design, etc only zm's standard web style console... App hasn't any zm control "interface" where I can change some important parameters on my zm (restart, delete events, manual record, etc)
I can't recommend this app instead EyeZM...
Sorry, but it is my opinion.
