2MP+ cameras

Anyone running 2-3 megapixel cameras (e.g. Dahua, Hikvision 2CD2032) with ZoneMinder?
Looking at upgrading to an Athlon 5350 (CPUbenchmark score 2607, similar to a Core i3 530 at 2.9 GHz) and wondering if it will support 6-8 2MP H.264 cameras at 10-15 fps. I'm interested in keeping the recording server small, affordable, and low-power.
I think the motion detection on secondary D1 or CIF streams will not be a problem, but recording and viewing might.
