Hello - I have a Foscam webcam that I know works with Zoneminder. When I open a monitor I get the red screen with only the date and time on it. I have the software setup correctly, I believe. This is a relevant part of the zmc daemon log - seems it's getting the wrong format response from the camera:

Which Foscam camera? Makes a difference how you set it up and what stream you use...

So I went back and re-installed Ubuntu server and zoneminder...and...I'm now able to get the video feeds! Now i just have to figure out how to implement the PTZ controls...

Note that there are already several Foscam ptz control scripts in zoneminder. If the script you end up using is different from any of these then consider generating a pull request on github to get it added into the source.

I used the newer Arun's script linked at the bottom to match my firmware - works great!
