Can't change alarm area

Hello,
I just installed ZM 1.24.2. Unfortunately I am not able to define alarm areas.
I always get a 100% area. I can see only Point 1 in the upper left area.
There is no way to define new points or to specify a window within the picture for motion triggering.
please help
