I broke something :( ZM Service fails to start

Update: works fine now - please close

In my quest to try and quiet down the logs, I attempted, once more, to patch zm_jpeg.cpp per the instructions and run make && sudo make install #
Alas - after doing that, ZoneMinder fails to start - this is all that is visible in syslog:
Sep 6 00:05:31 lulzsec undef[543]: ERR [Config mismatch, expected 218 items, read 216. Try running 'zmupdate.pl -f' to reload config.]
Sep 6 00:05:31 lulzsec zmpkg[491]: ERR [Unable to run "sudo -u www-data /usr/local/bin/zmfix", output is ""]
Updating the configuration does not help...
Someone, please help?
