Hi, guys! My first post

I installed zoneminder on an Ubuntu 11.10 machine according to the 10.10 Meerkat guide in the site. However it says:

service zoneminder start

and when hit enter it asks for sudo password and the returns failure. Any ideas how to fix this?

Try using: sudo service zoneminder start
Post logs if fails.

Zoneminder service fails to start
