Problem with ZMViewer 0.1.6 fow windows

Post by caladeira »

Hello!

I've downloaded zmviewer 0.1.6 for windows to watch my zoneminder 1.23.2 cameras.

However, after setting up zmviewer, I was able to connect to the database but i can't see any video.

The camera windows on zmviewer say "No signal" and in the console window I see this message:

Code: Select all

QSslSocket: cannot find ssleay32 library: QLibrary::load_sys: Cannot load ssleay 32 (The specified module could not be found.).
If someone have an idea, I appreciate.

Best regards.

Hello, sorry for this mistake. The error was caused by some missing dlls.
I updated version for windows including the dlls missings.
Please download the new version at http://downloads.sourceforge.net/zmview ... g_mirror=0

Hello!

Thanks for your reply.

I've downloaded the new file and now I can run the application without errors.

However, I still get the message "No Signal" on all monitor windows.

I have a local network with my ZM box and my windows machine on the same range: 102.168.2.XX

The monitor setup for my first camera is this:

Code: Select all

Name: CAM1
Server: 192.168.2.99
Port: 80
Monitor: 1
Stream: /cgi-bin/nph-zms
If you have any idea, I appreciate.

Best regards.

How is configured your webserver ?
Can you access to http://192.168.2.99/cgi-bin/nph-zms with a web browser ?

Well, my webserver is configured with the default settings.

I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 with zoneminder 1.23.2 compiled from source.

I've already tried another windows viewer, the "Viseon Viewer 2" with success.

If I copy the link http://192.168.2.99/cgi-bin/nph-zms to firefox 3.0 rc2 (my default browser), it will return a blank page without any error.

If I try it on Internet Explorer I get this:

*****************************************************
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.
*****************************************************

The connection to the database is ok and I can list all events but get the "No Signal" message also.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards.

Hey fyi i figured it out you must in zoneminder turn off

ZM_AUTH_RELAY Method used to relay authentication information (?) hashed plain none

set it to none and it works

although it is not the most secure i run it through putty or the local machine so i am covered
