so the problem is resolved (, I hope). We don't know _exactly_ how or why, but it works now.

Not sure what we did, but it is working now. Thanks again for the help.

While I have your attention. Did the streaming URL change from 1.28.2 and 1.29.0?

1.29.0 seems to have broken iOS app zmView and a home automation app I had the developer add ZM camera server support to his app.

Is so, where is the new URL documented?

UPDATE: I see it has based on the instructions. Need to add the /zm/

Code: Select all

http://localhost/zm/cgi-bin/nph-zms?mode=single&monitor=1&scale=100&user=username&pass=password

Thanks. I've already sent a message to the zmView developer and my home automation app developer.

I'll take a look at zmNinja

I know zmView folks updated their code to work with 1.29 - there was a post here a few weeks ago, so you may need to update zmView

Latest zmView change log says updates for 1.28.109

ZM View does work with 1.29.0 in both iOS and Android versions.

It is not working on my existing iOS installations. I am using the same user ID/PW in my new ZM installation.

I can connect to the server, but the montage and individual views do not work in zmVIew. This seems to imply that my zmView is still using the old streaming URL, which is not a user setting.

Do I need to delete my existing ZM server in zmView and re-add to force re-authentication or use the new URL?

Confirmed zmView will not bring up camera views or montage view if a port is specified in the URL.
