Authenticated mode: keeps reloading login page

Hey everyone, I've just done a fresh zm livecd install. All going nicely, cameras fine, etc until....

I enabled authentication. I try and login admin\admin

I see a message "loggin in..." flash before my eyes.

Then back to the login prompt

Repeat!

Any clues?

Try closing your browser and reopening it. Then try to login again with admin and admin.

Hmm. It appears to work fine now from home (mozilla - hooray) but keeps looping back using IE (when I try again from work).

I'm wondering if my company is blocking certain ports. ... does zm only need port 80?

More likely some "security" setting in the browser, probably affecting cookies, or maybe pop-up windows.

I have run into this as well and if remember correctly I set the IE browsers to accept cookies from my domain to allow it to work.
