Email Filter issue...

Please can anyone help me ...

I seem to have a odd issue I am using postfix using a gmail account for email notifications I have tested sending a email notification from the command line all working well....

I create a filter to alert me on the following criteria attached screenshot:

If I test the filter before running the filter in the *background works well only 1 record displays with the alert I am interested in pops into my inbox very happy.

my problem starts as soon as I submit this into background processing I start getting flooded with older events over a 20 sec period ... I have looked through logs no errors Just keeps mailing me ... I have tried creating basic filters but still same problem and when I preview the filter all works well 1 record... very stuck how to trouble shoot this one...

"zmfilter" has no errors in the log otherwise I would attach....

other than this issue works fantastically.

Hello Dempbm,

Make sure that your filter selects Unarchived events only!!

Just Browse through the options that are available!!

I made a change to my filter for the following .. but still does not help just slowly emails me events that match that filter ... still ignoring the "limit to first" but when i still submit manually works like a charm one event ... seems to be stuck in a loop....

Resolved my own problem

once I applied the following filter I no longer got spamed from my old event history.... hope this helps someone who gets in the same situation ...
