Anran ar-24nr-ip-ip2

Post by liderbug »

I found a WIKI entry for an Anran camera - but no smiles yet.
Linux FC19, ZM 25.0. I can get the login page on Firefox and it shows the VLC cone and just sits there. VLC errors out with: VLC is unable to open the MRL - which I determined is not my problem. I thinking it defaults to the "Login.htm" page sans any video

Has anyone had any luck. I hooked it to my wife's W8 box - nice picture - "OK, it works, not get off my computer." "Yes dear.".

AAAAAalllllpppp

Thanks

Someone posted a Wiki for the Anran VGB101-IP. Can that person PM me? It sounds like they got it working? Under what OS? Windows/Mac/Linux??

Thanks

It's now 2:33 AM - bad dream at midnight - @@$$@ mind won't shut down, so what'da hey...

google anran stream -> http://www.ispyconnect.com/man.aspx?n=ANRAN and try'em all

vlc "rtsp://sg11:554/user=admin&password=&channel=1&stream=1.sdp"
WORKS!!!!! Of course ZM gets snarky with "You have to have FFMPEG...." but I can stream the image

It's 3 @$@$#! AM maybe I can get some sleep.

Edit: Linux FC-19, VLC 2.0.10

Re: Anran ar-24nr-ip-ip2 - SOLVED

O...M...G...!!! It works. It really really works.

I found this: http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewto ... =9&t=21400
had to tweek function.php by setting my php timezone
then:
Source:
General:
Source type: Ffmpeg
Function: Modect
enabled, no blending..
----------------
Source:
rtsp://sg11:554/user=abcde&password=fghihk&channel=1&stream=0.sdp
24 bit color
1920x1080
-----------------

In Options, Images, FFMPEG_FORMATS. I changed "mpeg" to "mpeg4" - I don't know if that makes any difference but it's working and I have no intention of "fixing" it.
