I 'm running a test setup of zoneminder 1.25.0 on ubuntu 12.04 and trying to setup my axis 210 ip-cameras (already working). Unfortunately the login information (<user>:<pwd>@<ip>) in the remote host field under new monitor is not accepted. Zoneminder tells, the host must be a valid ip-adress.
I 've already changed path to arp in probemonitor.php to the full path.
How can I setup authentication to my camera?

Sorry for delay - been busy for a while.
I managed to connect to my cameras after I changed the Host entry in the Monitors table in the MySQL database. It is only, that the web formular for creating new monitors does not accept entry's other than an ip-address or hostname in my case. It seems to me, that there is a perl script which checks the entry and fires a false positive.
The camera config is taken from the preset list: Axis IP, 640x480, mpjpeg; the ip-address is the only value changed.
