hi,
I work for company that has several dvr equipment in all Mexico, so when we want to check that all of them are working, it takes a long time for going one by one. My idea is to develop a software that makes a socket to each dvr to proove its working, but also I need to know if the cameras are also working. So do you know how could I do that?

I think it's posible beacuse software for dvr let you view camera by camera and when there is no camera, it sends a message of video loss, so there is a way to know if a camera is working or not, by signal.
