Monitor that only triggers on other monitor modect

What I'm trying to do is setup a monitor that handles motion detection on my Axis 207w's using jpeg at lower resolution (thus very low cpu usage). What I'd like is to setup linked monitors that pull the full rez video during alarm events.

"Monitor" function can do this, however it spawns a zmc process that continually pulls the mjpeg video and uses up quite a bit of CPU for no purpose.

I think this would require a new feature, perhaps a 'Passive Monitor' function so that zm doesn't spawn a zmc process for the monitor or at least the zmc process just waits for alarms.

Or am I missing some trick?

Just thought, having two source URL's (and related height/width) one used for motion detection and one for alarm capture would probably do the same thing I'm looking for. Perhaps that's a feature on the way?
