LD PRELOAD on zoneminder

I have a camera that works fine with cheese and ekiga, but some softwares not aware v4l (as skype) i need to pass:

LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so

If I dont do that, can see only a black image with some white dots (because it wont decompress the image rightly).

How can I pass (and where) that PRELOAD to zm?

Hi,

because LD_PRELOAD is an environment variable you hat to set it before you start ZoneMinder. Because ZoneMinder uses wwwrun a user you have to add it for that user. Guess adding it to /etc/profile would do the trick.
