Amcrest IP4M-1053E PTZ control

Has anyone been successful in getting PTZ control for an Amcrest IP4M-1053E camera working?

Should be the same for any Amcrest PTZ cam
Controlable (checked)

Control Type - Amcrest HTTP API

Control Address - http://user:password@cam-IP-Address

Set the preset positions in the camera GUI (1-5)

Note: I have the best success using the "admin" user in the cam.

I have just tested and it does not work. The camera's own GUI of course moves it around just fine but no-go on the control address.

I got it working after finally getting a chance to spend more time looking at it. Auhentication issue bypassed by disabling ssl, at some point I might try to get ssl working properly but it's not terribly important here.
