Need to know what you are running Zoneminder on. Linux distro and version. Might be good to know the Synology Diskstation version as well.

Re: how can change storage in zoneminder to synology nas
Here are the basics.
1. Create a shared folder on your NAS
2. Update the NFS permissions for the share
3. Stop both ZoneMinder & Apache/Nginx
4. Mount the NFS share against /var/lib/zoneminder/events - you'll need to do this in /etc/fstab
5. Restart Apache/Nginx & Apache
Any existing events will not be available, so the assumption is you haven't started using ZoneMinder yet.

Re: how can change storage in zoneminder to synology nas
Slow down a bit. Fooling with fstab can ruin the system if you make a mistake!
I asked what you are using for an OS for a reason and that is to give you specifics. Simply mapping a share on a remote device can cause problems if Zoneminder tries to start before the share is connected.
Some time ago we published a way to add storage in the WIKI. Here is a link to that procedure: https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Common_Issu ... ive_or_NAS
This procedure was written to replace the existing storage space but can be modified to just mount the NAS to the ZM server. Using the systemd mount procedure will allow the NAS to be mounted before Zoneminder starts. My procedure was written for Ubuntu or Debian. I remember there was also a procedure for Red Hat versions somewhere.
If you are not in a hurry I can set up a test machine and work up a procedure to mount to my Synology NAS. I have some "training" and home repair projects that have to be done first.

I am grateful for your help and I am in no hurry
Please someone working on your Synology system and explaining to me how to host a storage space in it
I am grateful to you again

Not the Diskstation version. What Linux distro and version are you using to run Zoneminder?alhaddar wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 10:41 am Version: 7.1.1-42962 Update 2

You are not trying to run Zoneminder on the NAS I hope.

I've not done much with docker/containers so can't help much either. From what I've seen of other applications that use docker you'll struggle to get it working with an NFS mount. The whole point of docker is to make things more manageable and repeatable.
Your best bet would be to jump over to the support pages for the docker your using to see if they have any advice.
