I have v1.36.14... update available?

I am currently running ZoneMinder v1.36.14 on my Ubuntu 21.10 Impish machine, using Isaac Connor's repository. I just happened to mouse over the version on my ZoneMinder console page and see it saying that there is an update. I thought 1.36.14 was the latest version. There is no newer version from the repository. I came to the forums site to see if there was a newer version but as of yet, I'm not seeing it. Not really a problem, just a mismatch of information for the moment.

It's a recent change, but yes. It allows a new release to be tested by the hardy folk before it goes to the general public.

No, it’s an error. It was bumped a few days ago, but not released.

I tagged it, but then something fishy appeared in logs.

It'll be soon, just needs a bit more testing.

Was the bug fixed already? I am choosing software for my house surveillance, and I want to choose the best one that does not have (or almost) any errors. I read on zumroad.com that ZoneMinder is now the best video surveillance software. However, I am still unsure whether I want to use it since I already saw several error reports. Maybe I just need to choose another one? or will it become better over time?
I need software that I would be able to leave for a long time and not be afraid that the recording has stopped or failed. It is my main concern regarding this kind of software.
