Frequent DNS requests to zoneminder.com

Hello,

I have recently installed zoneminder for the first time, and I have noticed that I am seeing, via my PiHole, that there is a DNS request about every minute to zoneminder.com. This is by far the most frequent DNS request that I have on my LAN. Curious why there are so many requests / 'phone homes'?

Is there a way to disable this behavior? I did not see anything in the options thus far, hence reaching out for assistance.

You can turn off the Telemetry functions by going to Options->System->TELEMETRY_DATA and uncheck the box, save and restart ZM

Thank you for your insight. I had a feeling that the setting was there, just was missing it. I disable the 3ed party API, telemetry and updates, and this has seemed to stop the DNS requests and reaching out. Much appreciated, When it was just unticking telemetry, it was not the fix.
