How to limit recorded event times?

Post by wh33lz »

After the upgrade I am getting occasionally extremely long Modect recording sessions..1 hour or more...resulting in events that are GB's in size.
Some have been 6GB !
There is no continuous motion during these events...the system just does not stop recording it seems.

How do I limit event recording time when set to MODECT ? I do not see an option for this.

Thanks

System captured a 12 minute and a 6 minute modect event over the last few hours.
there were only a few alarm frames at the beginning of each, but it kept recording for 5400+frames.
There were no errors in the log during these events.
All other events recorded normally and were viewable.

I cannot export the log...the Export button has no effect.
The System status "running" function has no effect, must restart or stop using systemctl.
I am seeing error messages that no longer apply to this version..like the PATH_ZMS error...which is no longer an option.

I had no issues before the forced upgrade.

...one very frustrated user...

Tried deleting and reinstalling camera, but get ZoneMaster errors saying it cannot create event directory.
Previous events were supposed to be deleted ...but they are still there also.
Tried creating directories manually but no events.

2 of of 3 cameras are working normally, but adding new camera is not.
