Camera wil not reconnect after signal lost

Sometimes one of my camera's will lost the connection with ZM and after a while it will come back on-line so far so good. But on some days the camera will not reconnect and I have to open the settings window and click on save to reconnect again or restart ZM.

I guess that ZM is trying to reconnect but give up after a timeout or something.

Is there a setting to tell Zoneminder to try again?

ZM does try and reconnect -- so the question is -- what do your Zoneminder logs say is happening after the "signal loss" has happened? Also, are these USB connected (web) cameras, Network connected (IP cameras), wired, wireless?

ZM is very chatty about what it thinks is going on ....

Then you might got a more informed answer relating to your specific problem.
