Motion detection working when camera image rotated?

Post by petropolis »

1.30.4

I have motion detection working (modect) on all my cameras except one where I have the image rotated 90 degrees to the left. Is this a known problem?

When you rotate an image in Zoneminder you need to "adjust" the resolution. Normal such as 640x480 would be 489x640 when rotated 90 or 270 degrees.

Where do I adjust this? In the Source: Capture Width/Capture Height? I'm running 320x240 using some QSee cameras.

Not in 1.30.4 The resolution given should be what the camera sends.

But when you rotate, you may need to update your zones which won't rotate automatically

Changing the zone boundaries in the rotated image worked. Thanks.
