trigger alarm from drupal

Hello,

I want to use zoneminder to watch students working on an course managing system (LMS) in individual working spaces and when a student enters a test the LMS should trigger ans alarm on the camera watching his box so the coach can check that the student is not cheating at his test.

The LMS is based on drupal what request should it send to zoneminder to trigger the alarm ? is it possible to add alarm states (like "passing a test" or "to long inactivity on cours question"...)
