I just tried it on a BB Torch. I get: "Notice: Invalid Options"

I was hoping it would work as I can not view the video on the BB Torch browser. I can see everything else but the images.

And it seems like it should work, it is just a jpeg stream, I can see other stuff that has jpeg streams without a issue.

I have used this program successfully for over a year on a Curve 8330. I rebuilt my ZM box recently and I'm now on 1.24.2 and I can't get the program to work. I'm assuming it's not compatible with the newer Zoneminder versions.

I'd love to hear if anyone has it working on 1.24.2.

If you check the Apache logs, you can see where a page is being requested by the program. The requested page seems valid to me. I can pull up the same page in Firefox and it works. I'm guessing something changed in the html that's sent and the BB program doesn't know how to parse it.

I just downloaded that app, it asked me about the cameras, so far I have not
been able to get it to work with zm. I have given it my address,
www.wchast.com/zm
login guest
pwd guest
and it gives me a 404 error. saying I am not authorised to log in. Something I am doing wrong? It ask me about cameras, but I am looking at the zm
camera stream, selecting the stream from the console.

sorry this took so long. just came across it. your zm installation has a different url (this is the 3rd url i have come across. does it change every distro or something??)

we added this new url into the app and have tested on blackberry and android. demo video here (audio is a bit ratty FYI)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_2QfjJiwXE

in the bb app when you click 'change make' on camera you will now see manufacturer "Zoneminder CGI-ZM MJPG" (shown in picture below):
Image

select that as the manufacturer for yours.
for the model we list Monitor # so the model will correspond to your monitor ID for that camera.
for instance while camera 1 below is monitor 1 the 2nd camera is actually monitor 3 so you have to select monitor 3 as the model in the app for the 2nd channel.

so for this test demo above in our demo start with
make: Zoneminder CGI-ZM MJPG
model: Monitor 1 (for channel 1 to start)
mode: mjpg
resolution: auto or whatever you want here

then in "Login Info" button
domain: www.wchast.com (NO http://)
port 80
user: guest
pass: guest
check save login data box
select save button
select save button again on main camera edit screen to save all camera info

to start video click bb menu button and goto 'select camera', highlight the camera you just saved and click with trackball. on pop up select 'start' and give it a minute to see video. when video comes up click bb menu button and select stop, then select camera option again and at the bottom is 'add new camera' button. click and add the 2nd channel. we copy the previous camera's info so you don't have to type everything again. all you have to do is change the descriptive name field from say front yard to porch and click the 'change make' button and select the monitor ID as the monitor # for the model (in this case monitor 3 is the 2nd camera). click save and save again to save all camera info. now when you go to select camera section you will have 2 cameras. highlight the one you want to start and click, on pop up select start. from live video you can easily go to next/previous channel by clicking bb menu button and typing the first letter of the option you want on keyboard to skip to it. so for Next Camera click N on keyboard to skip to it. then click with trackball to select action. it will now connect to the next camera in the list. if you want to get a camera directly from the list goto select camera, highlight the camera you want and click trackball on it with 'start' as option

the youtube video above goes through the whole thing also along with how it works on Android version also (with a sneak preview of our multichannel view on Android due out very soon).

let me know if you have any other questions or issues. you can also post on our forum on our website if you don't hear back right away on here.
