ANPR Tutorial

Post by a123 »

You can get some ideas in www.anpr-tutorial.com from Quercus Technologies manofacturer. It explains about anpr equipments, anpr software and enpr engine. Also speak about all-in-One equipments, the new ANPR generation.

Also you can get ideas in www.quercus.biz, it is a manufacturer of ANPR (It is means Automatic number plate recognition or LPR license plate recognition).

Have a nice day

Yay...
now all i have 2 do is wait....

Thanx James...

As soon as i get this new version i can start working on my 2 new
ideas i have,

the 1st is ANPR, i think i can get this workin... I have had some succsess
with ZM and ANPR and am just waitin for some new hardware from eBay
and this New Ver of the CD and i will continue working on it,
I will post if i am succsessful...

The 2nd idea is to have a monitor mode camera change 2 a modect mode
@ a predefinded time and them back again...
so i could have it as 'Monitor' during the working day, and 'modect' after
hours...
(this one should b easy...)

No the Zmdv_2006 is all Mandriva standard packages except for zm and a couple perl mods. The mysql check at startup is a hack I included on the livecd. You could just copy it over from from a livecd. I think its a good idea. That's why I did it :)

Ross, i am trying to chnage this wonderful 2006 based non live cd
from a 2.6.12 based kenel to a 2.6.17

Reason is it doesnt detect the newer sata ports and strangly enough wont install to ide on this board either.
2007 installs fine to pata or sata

I have followed the instructions for remastering and have replaced the boot and main kernel.rpm with the 2.6.17 versions but i assume when it boots into the installer it used the boot.iso that is elsewhere and that is still based on a 2.6.12 so i cant install.

Im not as clever as me thinks!

So any pointers. I dont want to install another distro as i know the hassle it causes. Coreys ctus fails with my board too, but i assume the new live cd would work but wont do mdadm raid.
I prefer the way 2006 installs anyway but if i have to i could install a new live cd then move over to raid but ideally i want to run a complete raid 1 system

Cheers Ross

James
